February 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz said on Monday that it has launched a tender for construction of a gas transmission pipeline to the town of Svishtov, in northern Bulgaria, worth an estimated 15.8 million levs ($8.7 million/8.1 million euro).
All necessary materials and equipment, worth some 7.1 million levs, will be supplied by Bulgartransgaz and are not included in the value of the contract, the gas transmission system operator said in a tender notice.
Works under the contract are expected to take some 400 days.
The deadline for submitting offers is March 25.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 55% weight, time for completing works - 15% weight, and technical criteria.
The project will be fully financed with Bulgartransgaz's own funds.
