September 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 0.99% to 29,728 GWh in the January 1 - September 1 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 14.33% to 4,043 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.50% to 25,684 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged up 0.13% year-on-year to 823 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 13.41% year-on-year to 1,291 GWh.
