June 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Tuesday that it repurchased 86,748 own shares at a weighted average price per share of 3 levs ($1.72/1.53 euro) on June 1.
The shares represent 0.0644% of Sopharma's capital, the pharmaceuticals manufacturer said in a bourse filing.
Following the transaction, Sopharma holds 9,200,215 own shares, or 6.83% of its own capital.
Sopharma's five-year share repurchase programme, launched in February 2018, targets up to 10% of the drug maker's share capital.
As at 10:05 CET on Tuesday, Sopharma shares traded 0.33% lower at 3.06 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
