February 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM; SCOP] said on Thursday that its consolidated net profit rose to 1.64 million levs ($1 million/839,000 euro) in 2020 from 1.46 million levs in 2019.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage's revenue edged down 1.3% to 6.67 million levs last year, the company said in an annual financial statement.
The company's expenses fell 5.4% to 4.85 million levs in 2020, mostly due to lower personnel costs and expenses for hired services.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage's assets remained roughly unchanged year-on-year at 12.5 million levs at the end of 2020.
As at 14:40 CET on Thursday, ordinary shares in the company traded 0.68% higher at 7.4 levs on the BSE, while preferred shares has not yet traded.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage operates a chain of over 100 pawnshops in Bulgaria.
