January 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] said it has started the process of registration of a unit in Albania.
The new company will be a subsidiary of Sirma USA Inc and will have a registered capital of 3.5 million Albanian leks (25,600 euro/$27,400), Sirma Group Holding said in a filing to the Sofia bourse on Monday.
The Albanian unit’s activities will include design, development, marketing, testing and maintenance of software products and integrated solutions.
Last week, Sirma Group Holding announced it would hike the capital of its Sofia-based subsidiary, Ontotext, by 977,000 levs.
Sirma Group Holding, founded in 1992 simultaneously in Bulgaria and Canada, employs more than 300 and operates on five continents. The company is active in semantic technology, mobile applications, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence, electronic government, financial and banking services.
