January 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian company Sibota plans to build a bio fruit processing factory in the village of Radinovo, near the city of Plovdiv, it said in a notice to the regional environment inspectorate.
The plant will spread on 1,410 sq m and is expected to produce 130,000 litres of fruit juice per year, the company said in a notice published on the website of the Plovdiv regional environment inspectorate.
"The project is in its initial stage. The estimated investment is about 1 million levs ($570,200/511,300 euro)," business news website Capital.bg quoted Stanimir Cholakov, owner of Sibota, as saying.
The company will seek to finance the project with EU funds or a loan, he added.
According to Cholakov, if the company manages to secure financing, the plant can become operational next spring. It will create up to ten new jobs.
Plovdiv-based Sibota, established in 2010, trades in fruits and vegetables and has its own orchards in Plovdiv region, Capital.bg rported.
