The Lom site brings Lidl Bulgaria's network to a total of 128 locations, the company said in a press release over the weekend.

The new store has a sales hall spanning 1,407 square metres and a parking lot with 99 spots.

In February, Lidl Bulgaria said it plans to open eight to ten new stores this year, continuing its sustainable expansion.

Lidl is one of Europe's largest food retailers and operates in 31 countries. In Bulgaria, the chain has stores in 55 towns and cities, with over 4,200 employees.
