August 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria collected 174.7 million levs ($132 million/89 million euro) in lodging revenue in the second quarter of 2008, 97% more than the first quarter and up 9.0% from the same period a year earlier, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said on Monday.
Tourist overnights rose almost 2.5 times on a quarterly basis to 4,559,421 from April through June, which was 3.0% more on the year, the NSI said in a statement.
