April 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's sole nuclear power plant (NPP) Kozloduy said on Wednesday that it has signed three contracts for various repair works during the planned annual maintenance of its two units, worth a total of 7.2 million levs ($4 million/3.7 million euro), VAT excluded.
The largest deal, worth 3.1 million levs, was signed with local Atomenergoremont and concerns works on the control systems of the power plant's units, NPP Kozloduy said in a notice.
Another contract, worth 2.5 million levs, envisages repairs on the plant's electrical equipment. The deal was signed with a tie-up between local Montazhi-Co, KMC and Atomstroy.
The third deal, with local company Staykova-Borisov Izopesht, envisages thermal insulation works worth 1.6 million levs.
NPP Kozloduy has two functioning units - 5 and 6, of 1,000 MW each.
