December 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian hydrogen technologies developer Hydrogenera said that it has signed its first contract to deliver a 1 MW electrolyser - a deal which it described as a groundbreaking achievement in Bulgaria and the Southeast Europe region.
The daily hydrogen output of the electrolyser is enough to cover the needs of at least 100 households, the company said in a social media post on Thursday.

The contract was signed with a Bulgarian company, a Hydrogenera representative told SeeNews over the phone, declining to reveal further details.
Hydrogenera, formerly known as Green Innovation, has developed a 1 MW system capable of producing 200 cubic metres of hydrogen per hour, which is equivalent to 436 kg per day.
The company is considering a potential initial public offering (IPO) in 2024 to finance the development of a production centre for alkaline electrolysers, Hydrogenera told SeeNews sister publication RenewablesNow earlier this week.
In late 2022, Hydrogenera raised 2 million euro ($2.18 million) in a funding round that attracted local investment firms ImPulse I [BUL:IMP], Karoll Capital Management and MFG Invest [BUL:MFG] together with angel investors.
