August 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gross foreign debt ticked down 0.6% month-on-month to 34.9 billion euro ($39.4 billion) at the end of June, the central bank, BNB, said on Friday.
The external debt was down 2.0% year-on-year, BNB said in a statement.
It was equivalent to 76.7% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP), down from 80.6% a year earlier.
Long-term liabilities fell by an annual 1.6% to 27.3 billion euro at end-June, representing 78.2% of the total debt.
Short-term liabilities dropped by an annual 3.4% to 7.6 billion euro, representing 21.8% of total debt.
