February 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] said that it repurchased 137,705 of its own shares at an average price of 1.50 levs ($0.83/0.77 euro) apiece on January 31 as part of its ongoing share buyback programme.
The own shares held by Gradus as of January 31 amounted to 600,000, representing 0.25% of voting rights, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.
Last month, Gradus said that its board approved the launch of the share buyback programme targeting up to 3% of the company's equity capital, represented by 7,308,261 shares.
Shares in Gradus last traded at 1.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
