October 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Electrodistribution North, a unit of local power utility Energo-Pro Varna, has invested 100,000 levs ($49,723/51,129 euro) in the reconstruction of the electricity distribution network in two villages in central Bulgaria, the parent company said on Thursday.
The investment is expected to improve electricity supply in the villages of Podayva and Kapinovtsi located near the city of Razgraz, Energo-Pro said in an emailed statement.
The reconstruction involved the replacement of poles and wires from the overhead power distribution network.
Earlier in October, Energo-Pro said that its subsidiary invested over 300,000 levs in the construction of a new power distribution network in an area north of the city of Varna.
