October 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Electrodistribution North, a unit of local power utility Energo-Pro Varna, invested over 300,000 levs ($151,444/153,388 euro) in a new distribution network in an area north of Varna, the parent company said on Thursday.
Electrodistribution North built a new power grid in the area of Dolna Traka, located on the outskirts of Varna, Energo-Pro said in an emailed statement.
Overall, 350 households will be connected to the new grid.
Electrodistribution North is currently making investments in building new networks in other areas around Varna.
Energo-Pro said in April that its subsidiary plans to spend around 13 million levs in the electricity grid of Varna region. The funds will be invested in the construction of new power infrastructure and the rehabilitation of existing power networks in the region
