February 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Dupnitsa municipality said on Monday it has opened a tender for awarding a 1.5 million levs ($831,200/766,900 euro) contract for treatment of mixed household waste collected on its territory.
The tender envisages waste pre-treatment and transportation services along with other respective waste management works, the municipality said in a tender notice.
According to latest data, the Dupnitsa municipality generates some 14,200 tonnes of mixed waste from households, administrative buildings and shops annually, it said.
Candidates in the public procurement procedure should prove that they have generated at least 1.5 million levs in revenue from activities in the respective field in the last three years.
The deadline for submitting offers is March 17.
