April 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's government said on Wednesday that it has signed a 3.2 million levs ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro) contract with local company CNsys for the delivery of IT equipment needed for the maintenance of the National Schengen Information System (N.SIS II).
The project benefits from EU financing under the Internal Security fund, the government said in a notice.
The deal was signed on March 26.
The contracting authority has received two offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
CNsys is a system integrator delivering comprehensive IT solutions to the wide range of global accounts and corporate customers across the country, according to information published on its website.
