April 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz said that a deal with a within the day product was concluded on the Balkan Gas Hub trading platform on Wednesday at a record-low price of 24.5 levs ($13.7/12.5 euro) per MWh.
The price of the deal is 0.70 levs lower than the regulated price effective as of April 1, Bulgartransgaz said in a statement on Wednesday.
The transaction price also includes the costs of access and transmission to the virtual trading point, while the regulated price doesn't, which makes it even more competitive, the company said.
In addition, transactions of the long-term segment with an April 2020 product were concluded at a price of 23.95 levs per MWh, or 5% below the regulated price.
The Balkan Gas Hub trading platform launched operations earlier this year.
