The project was carried out by Bulgarian engineering company Prostream Group under an ESCO contract, which allows funding for energy upgrades from cost reductions.
Prostream, a subsidiary of local group Tehnova, signed the contract with the university in February following a public tender procedure. Bureau Veritas Bulgaria ensured the supervision of the construction works.
