June 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said it will complete by the end of August the overhaul of a 10-kilometre section of a first-class road in Plovdiv region worth over 15 million levs ($8.7 million/7.7 million euro).
Works on the section, which is part of a road connecting Pazardzhik to Bulgaria's second-largest city of Plovdiv, in the southern part of the country, will include repairs of the road drainage systems and installing road signs and road containment systems, RIA said in a statement on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, RIA completed the rehabilitation of another 17-km section of the samev road. The road agency has invested some 25.3 million levs in the overhaul.
