October 12 (SeeNews) - Following are some of the main stories in Bulgarian newspapers on Monday morning. SeeNews has not verified these reports and cannot vouch for their accuracy.
- Bad loans in Bulgaria's banking system rose 140% on the year in the second quarter of 2009, central bank data showed. The combined value of bad loans in the banking system is expected to reach 1.0 billion levs at the year's end according to the Bulgarian Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents.
- Bulgaria's Labour Ministry expects that the number of households in need of a monthly state aid will rise to 72,400 in 2011-2012 from 62,000 in 2009.
- Bulgarian copper mining company Asarel Medet plnas to list on the stock exchange in Sofia and on a foreign stock market once the current financial and economic crisis is over, the company's executive director Lachezar Tsotsorkov said.
- Bulgaria expects a gross domestic product of 63.518 billion levs next year, 10 billion levs down from 2009, Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov said.
