April 4 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria recorded the steepest annual decline in the industrial producer price index (PPI) among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) in February, at 12.1%, Eurostat said on Thursday.
In comparison, Croatia's industrial PPI fell the least among EU members in SEE, by 1.7%, compared to an average EU-wide drop of 8.1%, the bloc's statistical office said in a data release.
On a monthly comparison basis, Greece posted the largest decrease in industrial producer prices among EU states in SEE in February, at 1.6%.
Meanwhile, Croatia's industrial PPI marked the sole monthly increase in the region, at 0.1%. Industrial producer prices in the EU overall went down by 0.9% month-on-month in February.
