June 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian transport ministry said it has extended the deadline for receiving offers for the concession tender of the Plovdiv airport to September 19.
The initial tender deadline would expire on June 15, the ministry said in a filing on its website.
The concession financial parameters include mandatory investment for the entire 35-year duration of the concession of at least 35.2 million euro ($20.4 million/18 million euro), of which a minimum of 16.8 million euro should be made in the first five years.
The tender offers will be evaluated on several criteria based mainly on concession payment and investment programme, taking 75% of the total score.
In 2015, the airport welcomed over 100,000 passengers.
