July 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria completed a 52 million levs ($29.3 million/26.6 million euro) regional waste management system project in the southern city of Stara Zagora, the environment ministry said.
The project included the construction of a waste management depot with an annual capacity of 130,000 tonnes, a waste separation plant with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes per year and composting plant with an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes, the ministry said in a press release during the weekend.
They will serve 368,344 residents in 12 municipalities, creating about 65 jobs.
