December 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said on Tuesday that it has signed a 7.3 million levs ($4.2 million/3.8 million euro) contract for the reconstruction of a railway section 4.56 km in length with Sofia-based TSV, following a public procurement tender.
The contract covers the overhaul of the railway section situated between the stations of Kurilo and Svetovrachene stations, near Sofia, as well as reconstruction of the overhead lines and the signalling system, the contracting authority said in a notice.
TSV, a company wholly owned by the transport ministry, submitted the sole bid in the tender.
