May 9 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) [BUL:BSE] operator said on Tuesday that it admitted to trading 5.5 million new shares in local real estate investment trust (REIT) FairPlay Properties [BUL:FPP].
Starting May 11, the shares will be traded on the Special Purpose Vehicles Segment of the BSE main market, the bourse operator said in a statement.
The stock was issued as part of FairPlay Properties’ most recent capital increase, launched in March. The company had offered up to 74.09 million ordinary shares at 1 lev apiece to its warrant holders.
As a result, the REIT raised its capital to some 78.5 million levs ($44.2 million/40.1 million euro) from 73 million levs.
FairPlay Properties previously increased its capital by 9 million levs, following an exercise of warrants in November.
Shares in the company last traded on May 3 when they closed at 0.80 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
