May 22 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia's Serb Republic totalled 154 in April, up 55.6% on the year, the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings stood at 85 in April, 28.8% higher compared to the same month of 2023, the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic said in a monthly report.
The number of permits for civil engineering projects rose 109.1% on the year to 69 ones.
The number of permits issued for dwellings reached 750 last month from 225 ones in April 2023.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
