NEZAVISNE NOVINE
- The international overseeing body in Bosnia and Herzegovina, OHR, said it has established an inventory team and will start working next week on compiling an inventory of state property. The completion of the task is a necessary condition Bosnia needs to fulfill to move closer to joining the European Union.
DNEVNI AVAZ
- The problem with the distribution of almost 30 million marka in road toll between Bosnia’s two autonomous parts, the Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation, could be solved this week at a session of Bosnia’s Indirect Taxation Authority, an official from the authority said. The funds have been blocked in the past two months and a half as the Serb Republic and the Federation have not been able to agree on how to divide them.
- Bosnia’s soda plant Sisecam Soda Lukavac, a unit of Turkish glassmaker Sisecam, has started the construction of a 10 million euro unit, which will produce 800 tonnes of soda per day, the head of the Bosnian company, Dzevad Mujkic, said. The construction should be completed until March next year.
