September 22 (SeeNews) - The stock indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (LJSE) rebounded on Wednesday after falling the previous four days, bourse data showed.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.86% at 802.61 points, while the broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.35% at 1,706.25.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] was the top gainer among members of the two indices on Wednesday, with its share price growing 2.70% to 3,800 dinars.
At the other end, civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:EPCG] paced the blue-chip decliners, with shares dropping 11.84% to 350 dinars.
Belgrade Stock Exchange's total turnover increased to 573.9 million dinars ($5.7 million/4.9 million euro) on Wednesday from 3.2 million dinars on Tuesday, as 103 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 641,050 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 559.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
