BELGRADE (Serbia), August 18 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices ended mostly higher in a session of halved turnover on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose 1.22% to 635.26 points after shedding 2.71% on Monday. The broader BELEXline index gained 0.46% to 1,246.89 points after losing 1.67% a day earlier.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna plunged 1.79% to 291.16 on Tuesday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover fell to 22.7 million dinars ($342,360/242,757 euro) from 40 million dinars on Monday.
Trade in government securities generated 9.3 million dinars of Tuesday's turnover versus 1.7 million dinars on Monday.
Road construction company Vojvodinaput traded most on Tuesday, generating a turnover of 1.8 million dinars. Its share price gained 20% to 23,668 dinars.
Seventeen stocks advanced on Tuesday, 26 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
