May 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian investment company Alpha Bulgaria [BUL:ALFB] said that it increased its equity capital by 1.1 million levs ($614,727/562,419 euro) through an exercise of warrants.
In the process, two warrant holders - Austria-based BGA Management GmbH and Bulgarian hotel and restaurant operator Saint Gabriel Resort - subscribed for 550,000 shares each at an issue price of 1 lev apiece, equal to their par value, the company said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
Alpha Bulgaria's capital was divided into some 1.18 million shares with a par value of 1 lev apiece before the capital hike.
The company launched the capital increase process last month by offering up to 194.89 million common shares to its warrant holders.
Shares in Alpha Bulgaria last traded at 0.95 levs on the BaSe market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
