April 19 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Monday after falling for three consecutive sessions, with food, beverages and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] pacing the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
Podravka's shares closed up 0.73% at 554 kuna on Monday, ZSE data showed.
At the other end, manufacturer of plastic products for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] lead the blue-chip losers, as its shares fell 0.83% to 178.5 kuna.
Three of the ten blue-chips rose, two fell, three closed flat and two did not trade on Monday.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest turnover on the Zagreb bourse among the blue-chips on Monday - of 502,266 kuna ($79,800/66,300 euro), closing 0.26% lower at 191 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover fell to 3.8 million kuna on Monday from 5.3 million kuna on Friday.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index edged up 0.16%, closing at 1,881.75 points on Monday, after falling 0.19% the previous trading day.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed at 1,177.83 points on Monday, up 0.13%, after dropping 0.28% on Friday.
