April 6 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose for a third straight day on Monday, advancing by more than 5.0%, with the manufacturer of plastic products for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
AD Plastik's shares jumped 14.06% to close at 146 kuna.
At the other end, telecommunications services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] was the sole blue-chip loser, shedding 1.95% to 6.02 kuna.
Blue-chip hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the largest single portion of total trading turnover for a second consecutive session on Monday. Its shares climbed 8.33% to close at 27.30 kuna in turnover of 6.9 million kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover more than doubled to 39.6 million kuna ($5.6 million/5.2 million euro) on Monday, from 16.7 million kuna on Friday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index jumped by 5.06% to 1,581.19 after gaining 0.91% on Friday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 5.21% to 987.91 points on Monday after adding 1.42% on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index went down 0.09% to 111.3500.
