May 10 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed Monday's session in the green, backed by the 2.4% rise in the share price of telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE], bourse data showed.
Optima Telekom's shares closed at 5.98 kuna, ZSE data showed. The company lead the blue-chip losers the previous trading day, when its shares lost 2.34% of their value.
Electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] lead the blue-chip losers on Monday, as its shares ended the session down 0.71% at 695 kuna. Car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] was the only other decliner among the blue-chips, closing 0.27% lower at 181.50 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover totalled 9.6 million kuna ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) on Monday, same as the previous trading day, with tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generating the highest turnover among the blue chips. Valamar Riviera's shares changed hands in a turnover of 4.1 million kuna, closing up 2.07% at 29.60 kuna.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index grew by 1.24% to 1,959.58 points on Monday after rising 0.25% on Friday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 1.06% on Monday, closing at 1,206.73 points, after losing 0.18% on Friday.
