August 25 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices closed mostly up on Thursday as turnover increased, bourse data showed.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed up 0.27% to 1,804.81 points after closing flat on Wednesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0.38% to 1,050.21 after rising 0.16% in the previous session.
Total daily turnover on the bourse increased to 5.7 million kuna ($858,300/760,900 euro) from 4.2 million kuna on Wednesday.
Shipping firm Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, advancing 3.8% to 182.37 kuna.
Radio broadcasting equipment maker RIZ Odasiljaci [ZSE:RIZO-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, losing 3.8% to 85.12 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 1.5 million kuna. The stock closed up 1.35% at 145.84 kuna as 10,574 shares changed hands.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 107.5979 points.
