December 17 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has deployed a second aircraft at its base in Bosnia's capital Sarajevo and launched new flights to Germany's Frankfurt, Cologne and Hamburg and Sweden's Malmö, Sarajevo International Airport said.
Wizz Air also plans to introduce new services from Sarajevo to Sweden's Gothenburg on December 17 and to Norway's Oslo on December 19, Sarajevo International Airport said in a press release on Thursday.
The six new flights will be operated on a daily basis, the Sarajevo airport said.
Wizz Air opened the Sarajevo base, its second in Bosnia, in May. The carrier opened its first base, in Tuzla, in 2017.
Wizz Air has been present in Bosnia since 2013.
