April 18 (SeeNews) - U.S.-based communications test and measurement solutions provider Viavi Solutions said on Wednesday it has opened a research and development (R&D) centre in Romania's capital Bucharest, in which it plans to hire 120.
The company is now looking for candidates specialized in IT&C, testing, monitoring and optimizing networks, it said in a press release.
"Bucharest was a natural choice for opening the new VIAVI R&D center. In this way, we will be able to maintain close ties with our customers in this region and we plan to strengthen our presence here in the future," Viavi Solutions president and CEO, Oleg Khaykin, said.
Viavi Solutions activates in both network and service enablement and optical security. The company employs 3,200 in 46 locations across 22 countries.
