November 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's economy expanded by 3.7% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019, after growing by 3.8% in the previous quarter, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Thursday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, Bulgaria's GDP growth slowed down to 0.7% in the July-September period of 2019, from 0.9% in the second quarter of this year, the NSI said in a flash estimate, citing seasonally adjusted data.
Calculated in current prices, Bulgaria's GDP totalled 31.5 billion levs ($17.7 billion/16.1 billion euro) in the review period, according to the flash estimate.
