January 17 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed Tuesday's trading session lower, compared with the previous trading day, as insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] and chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lost the most among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
Triglav's shares went down 2.52% and closed at 34.80 euro, whereas Cinkarna Celje's stock slid 1.55% to 25.40 euro, LJSE data showed.
At the other end, Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] paced the blue-chip risers, with shares advancing 1.26% to 48.40 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,105.49 points, down 0.30%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 0.30% and closed at 1,397.56 points.
Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] generated the highest single trading turnover, as its shares switched hands in eight transactions worth a total of 860,198 euro ($931,451). NLB's shares gained 0.60% and closed at 66.80 euro on Tuesday.
Total daily regulated market turnover dropped to 2.1 million euro on Tuesday from 2.4 million euro on Monday.
