December 15 (SeeNews) - Online sports betting and gambling operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB] said its subsidiary in North Macedonia, 77 Bits, has signed a contract with the National Lottery of the Republic of North Macedonia to jointly set up a local online betting company.
Bitola-based 77 Bits, in which Telematic Interactive owns 50% shareholding interest, won a tender for a contract to carry out online betting opened by North Macedonia's National Lottery, the Bulgarian company said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
The stake which 77 Bits will hold in the new company was not disclosed.
Telematic Interactive acquired its shareholding in 77 Bits for 153,750 Macedonian denars ($2,639/2,742 euro) in October.
Shares in Telematic Interactive last traded on Thursday when they closed at 14.50 levs ($8.10/7.41 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
