October 23 (SeeNews) - Online sports betting and gambling operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB] said that it acquired a 50% stake in 77 Bits, a company based in Bitola, North Macedonia.
The transaction, which closed on Friday, is worth 153,750 Macedonian denars ($2,639/2,493 euro), Telematic Interactive said in a bourse filing without providing further details.

In the first half of 2023, the consolidated net profit of the Bulgarian company rose by over a fifth on the year to 56.9 million levs ($30.8 million/29.1 million euro), with the number of average active monthly users growing 32% year-on-year to 94,459, Telematic Interactive's most recent interim financial report showed.
Telematic Interactive has activities in Mexico, Columbia, Kenya and since May, in Peru. Its subsidiary CT Interactive, an online casino platform provider, is licensed in Bulgaria, Romania and Malta.
Earlier this month, Telematic Interactive Bulgaria acquired 80,000 new shares in Peruvian offshore subsidiary Palmsbet Curacao for a total of 80,000 euro ($84,700) to raise the unit's capital.
