November 14 (SeeNews) - Online betting and gambling operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB] said that it will seek shareholder approval to distribute a one-time gross dividend of 0.40 levs ($0.21/0.20 euro) per share from accumulated profits.
The company plans to pay out a gross overall dividend of just over 5.18 million levs to equity owners, Telematic Interactive Bulgaria said in a bourse filing on Monday.
Shareholders will vote on the proposal at an extraordinary general meeting on December 19.
The company will pay out the dividend as a lump sum or in tranches within 60 days of receiving shareholder approval, it said.
In June, shareholders in Telematic Interactive Bulgaria endorsed the distribution of a gross dividend of 1 lev per share for 2022, compared to 2.35 levs per share in 2021. The 2022 dividend of 12.96 million levs constituted more than half of the gambling operator's net profit of 22.6 million levs last year.
Shares in Telematic Interactive closed 2.76% lower at 14.10 levs in its most recent trading session on Friday.
