July 6 (SeeNews) - Virtual mobile operator Globaltel is set to launch its services in Serbia in September after being granted entry into the country's register of public communications networks, Serbia's telecommunications market regulator, RATEL, said on Wednesday.
Globaltel will provide services of a virtual mobile operator using Vip Mobile's network infrastructure, RATEL said in a short statement.
In May, RATEL also announced the entry of operator Mundio Mobile, part of UK-based Mundio Group, into Serbia's market. Mundio will mostly operate as a prepaid international provider and is due to commence in September.
According to information obtained from Bisnode, Globaltel is a local computer programming company run by director Sava Terzic.
