SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 17 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian capital city of Sofia awarded a 1.1 million lev ($636,300/562,400 euro) contract for streets reconstruction works to a local unit of Austrian construction company Strabag, a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Thursday.
Eight offers were filed in the tender, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The value of the contract includes value added tax.
Strabag has been active on the Bulgarian market since 2002. The company operates in all construction sectors, particularly in transportation infrastructures and building construction and civil engineering as well as on environmental construction projects.
