April 7 (SeeNews) - Spanish delivery startup Glovo said on Wednesday that it has started operations in two new cities in Bulgaria - Varna and Plovdiv, as of March 26.
The company is also due to announce its expansion to more cities in Bulgaria, it said in a statement.
Last week, Glovo announced it has raised 450 million euro ($535 million) in its Series F funding round led by New York-based investment managers Lugard Road Capital and the Luxor Capital Group. The company said it plans to invest the fund in expanding its footprint on markets on which it is already present.
Glovo launched operations in the Bulgarian capital Sofia in March.
