April 23 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange main SOFIX index posted a third consecutive losing session, dropping 0.82% to 570.60 points on Tuesday, as financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] led decliners among blue chips.
Eurohold Bulgaria shares dropped 2.63% to 1.85 levs on Tuesday.
The BSE did not operate on Monday and Friday.
The other major decliners among SOFIX members were drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] and lender First Investment Bank [BUL:5F4], which lost 2.03% and 1.73%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, dropped 0.71% to 114.43 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.68% to 498.13 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed 0.45% lower at 120.22 points.
Total trading turnover on the BSE regulated market fell to 229,000 levs ($131,000/117,000 euro) on Tuesday from 428,000 levs in the preceding trading session.
