February 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed 0.35% lower at 568.67 points on Wednesday, as diversified group Eurohold Bulgaria's [BUL:4EH] shares lost 3.36% to 1.44 levs ($0.80/0.74 euro), bourse data showed.
Total daily regulated market turnover plunged to 87,138 levs on Wednesday from 1.25 million levs on Tuesday.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] and diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] were the other notable losers, recording declines of 2.03% and 1.69% in their share prices, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, erased 0.20% to 112.40 points, dragged down by a 7.89% drop in the share price of agribusiness company Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:T43].
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.01% to 519.80, predominantly affected by the fall in Eurohold's share price.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, was the only index of the Sofia bourse to close higher on Wednesday. It added 0.39% to 133.94 points, due to a 1.94% rise in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU].
