December 5 (SeeNews) - Four of the five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Tuesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX climbing 0.19% to 750.04 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX was spurred on by an 8.73% jump in fertiliser maker Nechim [BUL:NEOH] to 27.40 levs. Additionally, First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB], or Fibank, advanced 6.20% to 2.74 levs.
The top SOFIX decliner was energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which backtracked 2.44% to 1.60 levs.
The gain in Neochim helped the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, tick up .028% to 786.26 points.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] closed 4.17% higher to 2.50 levs. The stock pushed up both the BGTR30 and the BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts. The BGREIT index added 0.62% to 190.73 points.
The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, also made headway, up 0.21% to 99.69 points. It was propelled up by investment firm HR Capital [BUL:HRC], which increased 2.00% to 2.04 levs.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, was the sole index to record a loss on the day, sliding 0.16% to 157.02 points. That was despite a 9.34% surge in Synergon Holding [BUL:SNRG] to 0.995 levs. The BGBX40 constituent that declined the most was online casino operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB], shedding 6.67% to 14.00 levs.
With 560 075 levs in turnover, IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] was the day's most liquid stock. It slipped 0.74% to 40.50 levs, with 13,829 shares traded.
Total turnover on the main market of the BSE crashed to some 1.66 million levs ($917,432/848,744 euro) on Tuesday from 9.32 million levs on Monday.
