October 26 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index rising by 0.4% to 582.75 points on gains at IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] and fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH].
Allterco climbed by 3.83% to 17.60 levs. Meanwhile, Neochim increased by 1.95% to 41.80 levs after the company said earlier in the day it will resume production of nitric acid as a technical issue has already been resolved.
The two companies also supported the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The index climbed by 0.06% to 135.35 points although diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria AD [BUL:ZHBG] lost as much as 9.47% to 0.15 levs.
Allterco and Neochim were also the top gainers in the BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index inched up by 0.01% to 706.28 points.
In contrast, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, fell by 0.68% to 176.2 points. The performance was mainly dragged by Super Borovetz Property Fund REIT [BUL:SBPF], which lost 3.45% to 2.80 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market climbed to 508,070 levs ($261,009/259,772 euro) on Wednesday from 505,171 levs on Tuesday.
The most traded stock was Super Borovetz Fund, which generated a turnover of 130,200 levs with 46,500 shares traded.
