March 10 (SeeNews) - Two of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in red territory on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX inching down 0.01% to 632.75 points, bourse data showed.
Sofix was set back by a 4.73% drop in Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] to 1.61 levs and a 3.38% loss in IT services provider Telelink Business Services (TBS) Group [BUL:TBS] to 10.00 levs.
CCB and TBS Group also weighed on the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, bringing it down by 0.22% to 736.83 points.
In comparison, the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose by 0.15% to 143.78 points. It was boosted by diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG], which soared by 13.61% to 0.167 levs, and diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB], which added 5.56% to 1.90 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, gained 0.44% to 187.74 points. It was pushed by a 1.23% rise in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.29 levs and a 0.94% increase in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.14 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange surged to 878,707 levs ($474,167/449,274 euro) on Friday from 228,916 levs on Thursday.
The day's top stock by turnover was Concord Fund-7 South-East Europe [BUL:CCR7], a national investment fund run by Concord Asset Management, which generated 300,840 levs with 21,800 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 13.80 levs.
