October 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) erased 0.24% of its gains to end at 569.25 points on Tuesday, dragged down by a 4% decline in the share price of Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB], bourse data showed.
As many as 100 shares in Industrial Holding Bulgaria traded at an average price of 1.9200 levs on Tuesday.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria's loss also affected negatively the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, and the BGTR30 in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGBX40 fell 0.16% to 132.18 points, while the BGTR30 decreased by 0.17% to 647.30 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, advanced by 0.54% to 161.39 points, due to a 2.69% increase in the share price of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market went down to 1.6 million levs ($944,300/818,100 euro) on Tuesday from 4.1 million levs on Monday.
The most traded company on Tuesday was Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH]. A total of 11,099 shares in the company traded 1.60% lower at an average price of 7.3671 levs, contributing 81,800 levs to the daily turnover.
